The Nuroad takes inspiration from Cube's race and cyclocross bikes with a little mountain bike DNA. There's plenty of clearance for big, grippy and comfortable 45mm tyres or 40mm if you run mudguards at the same time. There's an integrated seat clamp, exceptionally tidy rack, guard and kickstand mounts, and neat internal cable routing to keep gear shifts grit- and mud-free for longer. Thru-axle wheels improve steering accuracy, even on the roughest roads. The full carbon fork is lightweight, helps reduce vibration from the road and features lowrider rack mounts.
Featuring Shimano's gravel-specific GRX 2x11 components, the Nuroad Race combines all the best qualities of Cube's road race and cyclocross series in a rugged, versatile and lively bike. Ample frame clearance means Cube have been able to fit wide, lightweight and comfortable folding tyres with a CUBE wheelset featuring Newmen hubs. Aluminium Superlite
CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities that are important for a bicycle frame, including high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength. Then Cube make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result is exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
Mudguard and Rack Option
A gravel bike is a supremely versatile beast, which is why all Cube's gravel models have a mudguard and rack option. With generous frame clearances to fit comfortable, safe and grippy tyres even with full length mudguards, Cube also neatly integrated the rear rack into the mudguard design, and included a rear light, too.
