Whether you aim to escape on gravel back roads, join your first gravel race, or find the most versatile bike for both road and dirt, the new Specialized Diverge Gravel Bike is unmatched. It's the fastest, most capable, and arguably the most fun alloy bike Specialized have ever created. With a ride that's quick and lively yet stable and confidence-inspiring on rough terrain, the Diverge excels. Featuring Future Shock 1.5, an all-new gravel geometry, and category-leading tyre clearance, the Diverge embodies over 40 years of expertise in road, gravel, and dirt riding. This bike opens a new chapter in the gravel category, letting you envision entirely new rides. It's the ultimate getaway vehicle.
The Diverge Comp E5 starts with a premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork. Equipped with Future Shock 1.5, it delivers a fast, confident, and comfortable ride on roads, dirt, and thick gravel. SRAM’s gravel-specific Apex 1 group shifts smoothly through 1x11 gears on any terrain, while Axis Elite alloy wheels paired with Pathfinder Sport 38mm tyres add extra capability and versatility.
Specialized's Premium E5 Aluminium frame provides a stiff, light, and durable platform. Combined with a full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge Comp E5 is a light, lively, and versatile bike ready for any surface. Future Shock 1.5 technology, with 20mm of axial compliance, is specifically tuned for gravel riding, ensuring speed, control, and confidence. This keeps you in control, allowing you to maintain power and stay off the brakes on rough dirt roads and thick gravel, while keeping your hands, arms, and neck fresh.
Specialized redefined gravel geometry with the new Diverge. It features the most progressive geometry they've ever created for a drop bar bike, providing a capable and stable ride on dirt, yet responsive and nimble on the road. With increased frame reach, a slacker head tube, and a longer offset fork, the Diverge offers incredible confidence and a planted feeling on dirt. Shorter stems maintain overall cockpit length and lively steering. The low bottom bracket increases stability while being high enough for 650b wheels.
The Diverge includes plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, ensuring you can carry what you need, no matter how far you plan to go or how long you plan to stay out. With a massive 47mm tyre clearance on a 700c wheel and 2.1” on a 650b wheel, the Diverge's capability is unmatched. Specialized achieved this clearance with a drive-side chainstay that uses a machined alloy beam behind the chainrings, avoiding a fragile dropped chainstay design and maintaining chainstay length.
