Versatility is key when for escaping on gravel tracks, getting away from the traffic or reaching for the win in your first gravel race so you can get the most speed and capability from your bike on the road or the dirt. The Diverge is quite simply the fastest, most capable and most fun alloy bike Specialized have ever made, delivering a ride that's quick and lively, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough. With all-new gravel geometry and category leading tyre clearance, the new Diverge represents everything Specialized have learnt over more than 40 years of riding road, gravel and dirt. The Diverge writes an entirely new chapter in the gravel bike category, so you can dream up entirely new rides. It's the ultimate getaway vehicle.
Featuring a premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 offers a fast, confident, and comfortable ride on roads, dirt, and thick gravel. Shimano’s Claris 2x8 group provides a wide range of gears for any terrain, while Axis Elite alloy wheels and Pathfinder Sport 38mm tires ensure an efficient ride on pavement with the versatility for hard-packed dirt riding.
Specialized's Premium E5 Aluminium frame delivers a stiff, light, and durable platform. Paired with a full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 becomes a light, lively, and versatile bike ready to tackle any surface.
The new Diverge breaks away from traditional gravel geometry. It features the most progressive geometry Specialized have ever created for a drop bar bike, offering a capable and stable ride on dirt that still feels responsive and nimble on the road. Specialized have increased the frame’s reach, introduced a slacker head tube, and added a longer offset fork. This creates incredible confidence and a planted feeling on dirt, while shorter stems maintain a lively steering response. The bike's low bottom bracket height enhances stability but is high enough to accommodate 650b wheels.
The Diverge has been equipped with numerous rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can carry everything you need, no matter how far or how long you plan to ride.
Nothing enhances a bike’s capability like tire clearance. The new Diverge offers an impressive 47mm of clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay utilising a solid beam of carbon behind the chainrings, this clearance has been achieved without resorting to a fragile dropped chainstay design or increasing chainstay length.
